A friend recently shared with me a vision she had where Jesus appeared to her as a lion (not yet fully grown) and with a crown on his head. I decided to step out in faith and try to recreate a semblance of that picture for her. This was my first all-acrylic painting. It is also the first where I “splattered” paint as a finishing touch. This has since become one of my favorite things to do! It’s very freeing, knowing you want a bit of color but not knowing exactly how it will turn out! I love the rich, bold colors in this one.
