“Momma Bear”

Brave. Tender. Sometimes fierce.

We all need a momma bear. A lot of us are momma bears. I added the gold flicks and dots above the nose and around the eyes to signify femininity and beauty.

Currently my very favorite painting. Perhaps it’s because of the season of life I’m in. I loved capturing the texture of her fur with both bold and soft blue strokes.
