I fly to him in South Carolina for a few days and then we’ll both hop a plane back across the US and will touch down in Denver on December 12. Our boy will be home for Christmas! #BESTPRESENTEVER
There are many details I cannot yet share, but what I can say is that he is COMING. He will be living with us for the foreseeable future and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Having lived in a Chinese orphanage from the age of 6 months to 7.5 years, he has been living in South Carolina with an incredible host family for the past 6 months, receiving two cornea transplants over the summer to address his vision impairment. These surgeries were generously provided for by the financial gifts of a different community, and now it is our chance to sow into Grady’s future by providing him with the crucial vision therapy and post-op care that he needs right here in Colorado Springs. Wouldn’t you love to be a part of this little guy’s story? We need to raise $9000 by mid-December. Will you consider giving towards Grady’s Sight Fund?
The Deets: All donations are tax deductible; his adoption agency will be holding all funds received in a special account for him.
Enter your information (it will say “Family Information”) then choose “specific project” and enter “Sight for Shu” (Shu is his Chinese name). Your receipt will be mailed to you 🙂
THANK YOU BELOVED ONES!
